Thian Og Beach (Ao Thian Ok), Next to Chalok Baan Kao. Huge private bay with one resort, a hillside spa, a dive school and a mountain top restaurant/bakery. Lots of Black Tip Reef Sharks. If you would like to see the whole bay, please go to the rear of it on the foothills overlooking the splendid sweep of the bay.
Back to the headland connected to Laen Taa Toh, there is a restaurant called New Heaven, which open in the evening only. It is food at Thai cuisine, so it is full every day with the Thais and the westerners alike. From the veranda, the whole Ao Thian Ok can be seen. It is a restaurant with a splendid setting.
Come down to the beach in the middle of the bay where it is known as a good place for viewing sharks indicated by a big sign reading Shark Point. |
